What is a Beaver Scout? Being a Beaver Scout means that you join the Scout Movement by making a special promise.You will wear a uniform which includes a scarf and a set of badges. What do Beaver Scouts do? Beaver Scouts meet wednesdays at 6pm until 7.30pm, they do lots of fun activities like making things, singing songs, playing games, looking at nature, learning how to be safe and most important - making new friends! The Beaver Scout Promise is: 'I promise to do my best The Beaver Scout Motto is: 'Be Prepared'. When can I be a Beaver Scout? Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months. How do I join in the fun?
